Confirm someone’s identity

Before you start, you’ll need your passport details.

You’ll need to:

  • enter the applicant’s date of birth, including the year
  • confirm their current address

If the applicant is a child, you’ll also need to confirm their:

  • place of birth
  • parents’ names and year they were born

Make sure you do this on a secure device.

It takes about 10 minutes.
